Join CSHA

Our Mission

CSHA was created, and is maintained, for the purposes of encouraging and facilitating a collegial and educational interaction among those attorneys who are involved with California healthcare law. The Society desires to recognize the varied interests and practice settings of its members and the diverse perspectives of the members’ healthcare clientele and employers.

Towards those ends, the Society will act:

  • To conduct regular meetings so as to afford healthcare attorneys the opportunity to meet and exchange information and ideas and to explore matters of common interest;
  • To conduct educational seminars and programs on topics of interest to healthcare attorneys;
  • To otherwise educate members concerning healthcare legal services and principles, through publications and other appropriate means; and
  • To serve as a repository and clearinghouse for information of interest to members.

Membership Benefits

CSHA membership offers a host of benefits including timely access to the latest updates on state and federal legislation, regulations, and case law that affects the healthcare industry. You will also receive:

  • California Health Law News, an informative newsletter published 3-4 times per year that focuses on developments in health law specific to California
  • Invitations to the CSHA annual Spring and Fall educational conferences
  • CSHA committee and leadership opportunities
  • Invitations to special CSHA seminars and topical webinars
  • Opportunities to author articles in California Health Law News

Equally important, members enjoy a variety of opportunities to meet and network with healthcare attorneys from throughout California.
