1. Los Angeles of San Francisco office:  Mid to Senior level healthcare litigation associate with 5+ years of experience. Experience in healthcare litigation and medical staff is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate should have 5 or more years of litigation experience, and possess strong research, writing, analytical and advocacy skills. Experience with depositions and court appearances (first or second chair) a plus. Must be interested in taking responsibility for cases. Candidates must also be highly organized, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and possess excellent academic credentials. The position will involve working on healthcare litigation matters and client counseling. California bar required.
2. New York office:  Health Associate to join the 3rd-5th year class with transactional experience and an interest or experience in healthcare regulatory and compliance matters.  The candidate will work with our diverse national client base, including owners and operators of, and investors in, long term care and senior living providers, home health agencies, hospices, hospitals and other healthcare providers. Matters for these clients include multi-state acquisitions and divestitures of healthcare facilities and businesses, joint ventures, financings, healthcare real estate transactions, and advising on the development and implementation of innovative healthcare business lines. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and solid experience.  Prior transactional experience is required; health care experience is a plus, but not required.  This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled corporate associate to develop an industry focus in the growing business of healthcare.
