Kessenick Gamma LLP (“KG”) is a boutique healthcare firm that specializes in representing medical groups, technology companies, and other healthcare organizations. We handle a broad range of matters for our clients, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate formation and structural planning, regulatory compliance, governance, contract negotiations, and employment issues.

KG is seeking a transactional associate with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our San Francisco office. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and strong research, writing, and communication skills. Our ideal candidate would have experience working as a law firm associate and have a strong interest in business organizations and material transactions (e.g., mergers and acquisitions). No prior healthcare experience is required.

This position is an excellent opportunity to obtain substantive experience in a niche industry practice. As compared to larger firms, KG offers significantly increased responsibility, client contact, and a realistic prospect for partnership. Many of our attorneys joined us from larger international firms, seeking a different working experience. With the mentoring and guidance of our more senior attorneys, KG’s associates routinely work directly with clients and opposing counsel on complex deals, develop and negotiate sophisticated contractual arrangements, and provide advice to ensure compliance with complex regulatory laws.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Please note that KG is currently implementing a hybrid work schedule, with attorneys typically working in our office Tuesday through Thursday of each week. This hybrid work schedule is subject to change.
