We are currently seeking a full-time Manager of Corporate Compliance to join our leadership team.
The Manager of Corporate Compliance assists in the development, monitoring and management of the hospital’s Compliance Program under the direction of the Sr. Director of Corporate Compliance. The successful candidate will support the Sr. Director of Corporate Compliance to ensure implementation of appropriate policies and procedures, support compliance training, conduct investigations and maintain a system of reporting and ensure the integrity of all compliance investigations, direct and coordinate internal audits, and monitor IT Security and HIPAA/Patient Privacy compliance. The Manager will also ensure that the Compliance Program effectively promotes prevention, detection and resolution of instances of improper conduct to ensure conformity to state or federal laws, regulatory requirements, hospital policies, patient privacy, IT Security or the standards of conduct; be responsible for following up on reported incidents of non-compliance, conduct and/or coordinate internal investigations and prepare reports on the incidents and investigation findings; be responsible for assessing compliance of the organization’s policies and assist in updating or developing new policies; assist in evaluating areas of potential billing, Stark, Anti-kickback compliance or patient privacy risk and collaborate with other managers within the organization to work with management to implement solutions to eliminate potential risks; and provide direction, coordination and oversight of all Internal Audit activity.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field; working knowledge of management of an effective compliance program, including training, monitoring, conducting and documenting investigations, addressing violations and monitoring corrective actions; demonstrated current knowledge of business ethics, legal and compliance risks; and highly developed communication and influencing skills. Prefer a Master’s degree; 5 years of experience in healthcare compliance, healthcare administration, legal and/or regulatory affairs; certification in healthcare compliance; and managerial experience in a healthcare organization.
