CSHA is accepting proposals for presentations at our 2026 Fall Seminar, taking place November 6, 2026 at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel.
We invite individuals with expertise in healthcare law to submit their proposals for sessions that will engage and educate our community. Please submit your proposal by July 15, 2026.
Don’t miss this opportunity to share your knowledge and contribute to this highly anticipated event!
Although we are looking for presentations that cover a wide range of topics, based on feedback from our membership, we are especially interested in the following areas:
- Challenges and opportunities for financially distressed providers, including preparation for the impact of HR 1
- Recent developments in the California corporate practice of medicine doctrine
- Pharmacy issues, including PBM reform and 340b
- OHCA cost limits -- enforcement and priorities
- Collaborations between AI companies and healthcare providers
- Preparing for the attestation process for off-campus hospital outpatient departments under Section 6225 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026.
- Upcoming changes to the Hospital Fair Pricing Act/Hospital Fair Billing Program
- Update on Welfare and Institutions Code section 17000
- Update on behavioral health law in California
- Scope of practice in California, including AB 890
- Issues and challenges for intermittent and mobile clinics in California
- Recent developments in medical staff
- Sessions that would fulfill California’s specialty MCLE requirements (implicit bias, civility, and technology in the practice of law)
